“The role of actuaries has fundamentally changed over the past decades. While actuaries used to primarily answer technical questions in the background, today’s actuaries are much more aware of the challenges facing society.

For example, today’s actuaries are also concerned with the financial situation of individuals and how, and which, information can best be presented through, for example, a Pension Tracking Service. This also means that actuaries are becoming more visible, and need to use all modern tools such as podcasts, videos, and social media to make their voices heard.”
