Recently, the Young Actuaries Initiative (YAI) successfully launched their digital community on actubase with several hundred users already online.
The initiative aims to foster broad exchange among actuarial associations committed to engaging with young professionals and to developing offerings that go beyond the national horizon. actubase provides an ideal virtual environment to support this exchange. The platform offers various ways to connect one-to-one, discuss topics and challenges from daily work, and access relevant news, events, and resources.

To celebrate the start of the community, YAI hosted a Welcome Reception at the European Congress of Actuaries 2026 in Paris, creating a valuable opportunity for young actuaries to connect and exchange internationally. The initiative looks forward to further strengthening this spirit of collaboration by expanding digital interaction and complementing in-person formats such as the ECA.
