With over 320 participants from 37 countries, the European Congress of Actuaries 2026 (ECA) in Paris once again confirmed its role as a leading platform for actuarial exchange in Europe. Hosted by the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE) in cooperation with the Institut des actuaires and organised by the European Actuarial Academy (EAA), the congress brought together experts from across the industry.

Under the theme “United in Diversity,” the programme addressed key challenges in actuarial practice. Plenary sessions highlighted topics such as regulation, trust in a changing world, ageing societies, and AI, featuring speakers from EIOPA, the OECD, the Geneva Association, and senior representatives from the European financial sector.
With the Young Actuaries Initiative opening the congress with a welcome reception, followed by a memorable Parisian Night in an atmospheric setting, the congress offered excellent networking opportunities to strengthen connections and build new ones.

ECA 2026 therefore once again fulfilled its mission as a key milestone for international and interdisciplinary exchange among actuaries in Europe and beyond.
Soon all recordings from ECA 2026 will be available exclusively here on actuview. Watch this space!
