Fifty-seven young talents have entered their contribution to the second Young Actuaries World Cup (YAWC) which follows the ICA 2026 theme “Tradition, Diversity and Innovation”. Their submissions already prove the inspiration, ingenuity and problem-solving capabilities of the young actuarial experts in the world.

Now, the jurors will select 24 quarter-finalists – four per continental region Canada & USA, Latin America / Caribbean, Africa, Europe, Asia, and Oceania – to compete in live broadcasts and be interviewed by a panel of judges on their ideas. The global actuarial community is welcome to attend these sessions and submit likes and comments.

After two more semi-finals in early 2026 the four finalists will be invited to the International Congress of Actuaries (ICA) in Tokyo in November 2026, with all expenses paid. There, the final round will be held and the winner of the YAWC 2026 chosen.
