The International Actuarial Association (IAA) believes that every actuary has the potential to contribute to the profession and that young actuaries will continue to play a significant societal role in the future. As such, the IAA is launching its 2nd “Young Actuaries World Cup” (YAWC), a friendly global competition between young actuaries (under 35). actuview is proud to support this special event as Media Partner.
The YAWC Theme is aligned with the ICA 2026 theme: Tradition, Diversity and Innovation. This is particularly relevant for emerging professionals who benefit from the existence of long-established skills while also addressing the challenges and opportunities afforded by global advances in technology and developments in society. Participants are encouraged to provide a broad interpretation of the theme.
The submission phase ended on July 31, 2025. Now, 24 Quarter-Finalists shall be invited to live broadcast and be interviewed by a panel of judges, who shall ask questions related to the video submitted for the Qualification Round. The global actuarial community invited to attend and submit “likes” and comments!

The Top 2 participants of each Semi-Final (a total of 4 participants) qualify for the Finals at ICA Tokyo 2026, with the following costs covered by the IAA and the Young Actuaries Innitiative:
- Round-trip flight to Tokyo
- ICA 2026 Ticket
- Hotel Accommodation during the ICA 2026
- The privilege to present on stage at theICA 2026
