In an exciting development, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has obtained accreditation from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) for its Postgraduate Master of Science in Actuarial Science program. This accreditation grants successful students six exemptions from the IFoA qualification process.

UNILAG is renowned for offering one of Nigeria's oldest and most esteemed actuarial programs, developed in collaboration with the Nigerian Actuarial Society (NAS). The accreditation is the result of close collaboration among all three organizations, providing students with a clear pathway to IFoA qualification.
