The recent CONVENTION A | AFRICA brought together a vibrant community of over 380 participants from 77 countries, showcasing the growing global engagement with Africas’s actuarial landscape. With 550 total delegates – including students, actuaries, insurance professionals, and international speakers – the event proved to be a truly global gathering focused on the future of the profession.
Spanning 12 sessions and 16 hours of high-quality content, the convention addressed a wide range of pressing topics. Discussions included regulatory developments, professional standards, educational challenges, and promising new initiatives for supranational collaboration. The event provided a space for African actuaries and international experts to connect, exchange ideas, and explore how best to support the profession’s development across the continent.
Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive: 92% rated the event 4 or 5 out of 5. This clearly reflects a high level of satisfaction with both the content and organization of the convention.
