The ASSA Convention is the traditional and renowned annual meeting of the Actuarial Society of South Africa. The 2024 ASSA Convention marked a return to a fully in-person format, complemented by a live stream of the Presidential Plenary. The event took place in Cape Town on 20 and 21 November, preceded by the Africa Seminar on 19 November. Back as an in-person-only event, the conference aimed to once again foster networking within the profession.
