„Actuarial science, since its inception, has always relied on statistics, probability theory, and advanced risk assessment techniques. However, our profession has continuously evolved, and we, as actuaries, have never stopped developing new methods, whether through research or by finding new practical areas where existing methods could be applied. With vast amounts of data and computing power already assisting us in our day-to-day work, I believe that the field of Artificial Intelligence will radically transform our profession, creating a significant overlap with data science and computer science. This shift will make the actuarial field increasingly interdisciplinary, making it essential to adapt our current skill set accordingly.
