The CONVENTION A event series is entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of CONVENTION A | ASIA, a dedicated event aimed at strengthening actuarial collaboration across the Asian continent. Building on the success of previous events, this extension marks a strategic move to engage actuaries in Asia more directly, fostering dialogue, innovation, and professional development in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.
Scheduled for March 24, 2026, CONVENTION A | ASIA will spotlight key topics relevant to Asian markets, including emerging risks, regulatory developments, and the evolving role of actuaries in shaping financial resilience. The event will feature region-specific sessions, expert panels, and networking opportunities by the partner associations involved and therefore tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities faced by actuaries in Asia.
Confirmed partners for the event already include leading global and regional actuarial organizations such as the International Actuarial Association (IAA), Society of Actuaries (SOA), Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA), and the Actuarial Association of Sri Lanka (AASL). Discussions with additional associations across Asia are currently underway, signaling strong interest in and support for this initiative.
With CONVENTION A | ASIA, the series hosted by the European Actuarial Academy and actuview continues its mission to unite the global actuarial community through inclusive, high-quality events that reflect the diversity and expertise of the profession worldwide.
