actuview Partners Roundtable

ACTUARIES EXPANDING HORIZONS

actuview is excited to present the third actuview Partners Roundtable, tailored to its community of over 13,000 expert users and more than 80 associations and industry partners. Participation is completely free of charge.

With the support of our sponsors Aeiforia, Africa Re, Milliman, and RGA – the program will feature two expert panel discussions with international thought leaders. Our Premium Content Partners will share executive insights on the trending topic of Artificial Intelligence, exploring how AI is expanding actuarial roles beyond traditional modeling and how human behavior and decision-making may influence its adoption and ultimate potential.

The second focus is Longevity: medical advances and AI are transforming how we understand, model, and insure human lifespan – challenging traditional assumptions in life and health insurance, while opening the door to new risks, opportunities, and strategies.

Program

Panel 1: Longevity Rethought – How Medical Progress and AI are Changing Life and Health Insurance
2.00-3.15 PM CET
This session explores how medical breakthroughs and AI are reshaping life and health insurance. It examines whether longevity is becoming more predictable, how AI is shifting healthcare from treatment to prevention, the implications of unequal access to new technologies, and how insurers can turn longevity risk into strategic opportunity through innovation in product design, risk modeling, and customer engagement.

Panel 2: AI Update – New Use Cases for Actuaries
3.30-4.45 PM CET
AI is expanding the role of actuaries beyond traditional modeling into areas like automation, real-time analytics, and strategic insight. But as these tools grow more powerful, the human element becomes just as important. This panel will explore not only the emerging use cases for AI, but also how behavioral science and human decision-making influence its adoption. Could human nature itself limit how far AI can reshape the actuarial profession?
