Exploring long-term risks
In October, the IAA LIFE Section hosted this insightful event exploring the challenges and opportunities of ageing societies for everyone interested in the topic.
The keynotes and discussions addressed questions of longevity and its impact on insurance, and the role of actuaries in shaping policy. We explored demographic effects on climate, the economy, and the actuarial profession, as well as the effects of geopolitics on long-term risks.
