Journée 100% Actuaires 100% Data Science 100% Durabilité

The traditional Journée 100%, a major event in the French-speaking actuarial community, is a privileged moment dedicated to disseminating the work carried out within the commissions, working groups and communities of the Institute of Actuaries. It is also a day for actuarial research. Moreover, it’s a unique opportunity to exchange ideas with participants and speakers, and to enrich the debate on subjects of importance to the profession and, more broadly, to the marketplace.

Two new features this year: the Journée 100% is now named 100% Actuaires 100% Data science 100% Durabilité and will be held at the Parc des Princes as well as online.

Livestream of „Young Actuaries for a Sustainable World“ by the Young Actuaries Initiative

There will also be a special part featured in the program this year: The Journée 100% will include the very first roundtable session presented by the newly founded Young Actuaries Initiative. Under the theme „Young Actuaries for a Sustainable World“ Thrinayani Ramakrishnan and Antoine Héranval will host a workshop bringing together young actuaries from various European countries to discuss the essential role of the actuarial profession in promoting sustainability.

This exchange will offer a different perspective on how actuaries, with their skills in risk management, modeling and long-term foresight, can contribute to meeting the environmental, social and economic challenges of sustainability. Speakers will share their experiences and ideas on topics such as climate change, energy transition and corporate social responsibility. They will also examine how actuaries can innovate to support companies and financial institutions in integrating sustainable strategies. The workshop will encourage an intergenerational dialogue on how young actuaries can provide new solutions.

The session will be exclusively streamed live here on actuview on 21/11/2024 at 2.45 pm – tune in!
