The Estonian Actuarial Society (EAL) was founded in January 1999 and celebrated its 25th anniversary with a conference on September 27th, 2024, in Tallinn. The conference took place at the Nordic Hotel Forum. At the same time, from September 26th to 30th, 2024, the IAA held its semi-annual meetings in Tallinn.

The world is witnessing interesting, yet somewhat worrying times. With AI stepping up and human population getting older the whole society has to be prepared. We all need open discussions and can contribute to wise decisions.

The speakers and panellists included the President of the IAA and other distinguished representatives of the actuarial profession, along with representatives from companies operating in the Baltic insurance market, financial institutions, and other sectors.
