Opioids have received a lot of attention in the media due to the consistent rise in overdose fatalities since the mid-2000s. In this video, Nick Kocisak discusses the results of RGA’s analysis on the relationship between prescription opioid use and all-cause mortality. These results challenge common assumptions around prescription opioid use and provide key insights into three opioid-related features that were associated with significantly different mortality outcomes.
